Deer Resistant Plants

Deer are awful cute, but not when they are eating your stuff.  There are ways to deal with them.

A fence is the first line of defense. It doesn't have to be extra large or electric, most deer will go elsewhere is a fence is surrounding dinner.   If a fence is out of the question there are a few other things to try.

There are a lot of scent deterrents out there some work better than others.  Let me know if you have a favorite that works well for you.
Milorganite works well (by smell), but you must put it out often and after it rains, as the rain washes away the effectiveness.

I have a new scent deterrent this year, and it lasts all season.  I have sold a few and am waiting to hear how it worked.  I'm very excited about this new product.

The other thing that you can do is plant things that they don’t like – a hungry deer will eat anything, but they don’t normally prefer these plants.

Here is a list of deer resistant plant that I carry.
